With respect to your statement, "Such actions are proliferating because 'warriors' are getting away with them," I would like to add that First Nations people have gone to jail for their actions. In fact, six leaders from northern Ontario's Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) First Nation — including a grandmother — were sent to jail for six months for their blockade of Platinex Inc.

I would disagree that these issues can only be resolved through the courts. These issues can be resolved through respectful negotiations based on constitutionally protected Aboriginal rights and treaties.
